The Committee on Environment is comprised of representatives from all 11 jurisdictions within the Northeast International Region. The New England Representatives are traditionally the environmental commissioners of the region and also sit on the Northeast Committee on Environment (NECOE). The COE is tasked with not only executing initiatives but directing various steering committees and working groups that report to them. Both the CCSC and Ecological Connectivity Working Group are under the COE. In 2018 Resolution 42-1: Resolution Concerning Adaptation, was passed. A working group is currently being created to execute this initiative.
